Effective March 11, 2025, Turkish diplomatic passport holders will no longer enjoy visa-free access to the United Kingdom, marking a major shift in travel regulations. Turkey’s Presidential Communications Directorate confirmed that this change is part of a wider policy adjustment affecting diplomatic passport holders globally.
For those who frequently travel to the UK for business, official duties, or personal reasons, this new requirement means more hurdles, like: additional paperwork, longer processing times, and potential travel disruptions. Whether attending meetings, conferences, or managing international investments, Turkish diplomatic passport holders will now have to navigate the visa process—an added layer of complexity that could disrupt travel plans and business operations globally. However, there is a seamless solution to maintain unrestricted global access with a second passport. By obtaining a second citizenship by investment programs such as St Kitts, Grenada, and Antigua & Barbuda it is possible to visit the UK and all the countries within the Schengen area without visa restrictions. This would be the most suitable alternative solution for individuals and their families to avoid all travel challenges in a changing world.
